Un retour facultatif à l’école est prévu à partir du 11 mai. “La rentrée scolaire aurait dû se faire en septembre, ça aurait été beaucoup plus sûr soutient Philippe Martinez. Qu’est-ce que ça veut dire le volontariat ? Ce sont les parents qui n’auront pas le choix ? Dans quelle mesure ? Quelle proportion pour respecter les protections ? Les parents qui ne le voudraient pas mais qui auraient la pression de leur employeur pour retourner au boulot, comment seront-ils payés ? Trop de questions montrent que le gouvernement a trop tergiversé. Les messages ne sont pas clairs entre l’annonce du président de la République le 11 mai où tout le monde a compris tout le monde à l’école et aujourd’hui, c’est plus mesuré que ça“.

“Nous appelons à travailler tant que les conditions de protection sont réunies : la santé d’abord ! réinsiste-t-il.  Les profs ne sont pas en vacances rappelle-t-il. Et comment vont-ils gérer une moitié de classe à l’école et l’autre moitié à la maison ? s’interroge-t-il. Il faut régler ce genre de problématique”.
